Both LeBron James and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar may have something in common as long as LeBron James manages to return to playoff contention next season. This Laker season will always be remembered as the one that was flat out awful in terms of injuries, management, and much more. Chris Broussard would like to explain to the Lakers fans that there's nothing to be sad about because we may be looking at history repeat itself. Kareem Abdul-Jabbar did not make the playoffs in his first season in LA but managed to completely turn it around the following season.
There's no disputing that LeBron James had the Lakers on track to make the playoffs around Christmas so should the fanbase look forward to a great season?
