Terrell Owens: "What I Did Pales In Comparison To Today's Players"

Hall of Fame WR Terrell Owens joins The Odd Couple with Chris Broussard and Rob Parker to talk about the recent spat of antics from the likes of Antonio Brown and Odell Beckham Jr. and the unfair comparisons he faces from it. Owens gives insight on Brown and explains why he does not condone the way he handled his tenure with the Oakland Raiders. He takes a look at player holdouts and explains the need for a better players' union in the NFL. Plus, Owens discusses how negative perceptions of his character have bled into his post-playing career and why he feels these perceptions are uncalled for.

Terrell Owens on the Antonio Brown civil suit:

"You're innocent until proven guilty, not the other way around. Again, I'm with you on this. I think he should play. I think this is a situation where, the female, this is a money grab type of situation. Obviously, there's always two sides to every story, but I just think for AB it looks bad because of the timing of it. And obviously she's trying to almost, like, kick a man when he's down."

Terrell Owens on Odell Beckham Jr. wearing a watch during a game:

"I really don't understand it. When you think about something like this happening, I'm like: 'Ok, where are your priorities?' I understand the fashion element of it, but there's a time and a place for it. No pun intended. There's a time and a place for it. It's not on the football field.... It's a distraction. And this is what kills me, dude. I got ridiculed, I got criticized so much, and (what I did) pails in comparison to what these dudes are doing!"
