Doug Gottlieb filling in for Dan Patrick explains to Jason Smith his take on all the ridiculousness surrounding the Lakers. At first, he quotes Richard Jefferson who feels Rob Pelinka has no business being at the top of the big decisions for the Lakers.
Doug Gottlieb is a little critical of Jefferson's thoughts but feels the bigger issues is lacking a president of basketball operations to at least guide Pelinka through the murky waters that is the Lakers organization right now. Gottlieb feels the Lakers need to seriously invest in hiring people who actually know what they're doing at their position.
