Charles Barkley Responds to Draymond Green Saying ‘Can’t sit at this table’

Draymond and Barkley

Charles Barkley joined the Dan Patrick show to discuss many issues surrounding the NBA as well as how the coronavirus is affecting the world of sports. Barkley also comments on the little beef he's had with Golden State Warriors forward, Draymond Green.

Charles Barkley and Draymond Green have had many back and forths in the media from Barkley saying the equivalent of fighting words to Draymond, to Barkley saying Green averaged a 'triple single.' It seems like it's all fun and games, but in some ways, it also seems a bit juvenile.

The last spat between Barkley and Draymond was when Draymond VERY PUBLICLY said he'd take Charles Barkley's job, among other things:

“Barkley should stop before I take his job, though. Because I can do that job too,” he told reporters. He also can’t talk basketball with me either. Not smart enough, not qualified, no rings. Can’t sit at this table.”

This morning, Barkley responded to Draymond Green's comments saying the following:

"Draymond Green is a nice guy; I like Draymond. He's a good player but do you know what he is? He's like the guy in the boy band who's the least important member. He thinks the crowd is cheering for him, but he doesn't realize he's standing next to Justin Timberlake. He's the least famous person in the boy band, and he thinks he's a star. He's in the boy band; He's lucky he's in the boy band and thinks all the girls are screaming for him and like NO, they're screaming for Justin Timberlake."
