The Raiders announced a trade with the Seahawks for QB Geno Smith and Dan thinks it’s a good move for Las Vegas. They have a strong roster, with time to make more improvements this offseason, and Smith provides consistent play at the quarterback position, something that has been lacking in Vegas for some time.
Dan Patrick: “Now you got to, at least every Sunday, know that your quarterback gives you a chance. And maybe Geno Smith is a B-level quarterback, but that’s OK...The Raiders got a quarterback that they can count on and they haven’t had that for a little while.”
