On Tuesday's 2 Pros and a Cup of Joe, Jets coach Robert Saleh says he's taking a week-to-week approach when it comes to the starting quarterback, with the intention of getting Zach Wilson ready to return. Jonas Knox, Brady Quinn and LaVar Arrington believe this is a rare misstep for Saleh who is sending mixed messages to both Mike White and Zach Wilson.

Jonas Knox: "I don't understand what the waiting is for. Waiting for what? So say [Zach Wilson] comes back and he's shown something and it's week 16. All of a sudden in a fight for the playoffs, you're gonna put him back in?"
LaVar Arrington: "I think Robert Saleh has done an excellent job as a coach in terms of how he's handled his team and how he's handled this season. I think this is a misstep in how he's talking about it. Give it in a way where you don't have to give us everything, but you are in New York City, so just give us the realness of it and be done with it."
Brady Quinn: "This was a mistake. He never should have done this in the first place by benching Zach Wilson. Because now you find yourself in a scenario where Mike White looks that much better... And if he looks that much better this week, Robert Saleh put himself in the position where like, what's your excuse to take him out?"
