The Delaware Division of Motor Vehicles is announcing that available five-digit license plates are being released on July 9th. A limited number of the coveted plates will be available at DMV locations in Wilmington, Dover, Georgetown and Delaware City. They cannot be reserved in advance. Customers will have to give up their current license plate number, must pay transfer fees and will have to bring their vehicle title and other materials.
