Delaware Negotiating To Buy New Voting Machines

(Dover, DE)  --  Delaware election officials say they are hoping to announce a contract for new voting machines in a matter of weeks.  Election Commissioner Elaine Manlove told Delaware State News that they are negotiating terms of a contract with one of the bidding companies.  The company was not identified.  Common Cause Delaware has released the bids the state received.  The new voting machines are expected to make several improvements to the current ones, which are among the oldest in the nation.
