Dover, DE)  --  Delaware State University's former Lydia Laws Residential Hall is soon to be a pile of rumble.  The college began demolition of the building yesterday as part of a plan to expand and modernize the campus.  The 56-year-old structure will make room for a new 200-thousand square foot, five-story dormitory scheduled to open in August 2019.  Nearby Tubman Hall is also scheduled to be knocked down.
