One Fatality in Southwest Emergency Landing at Philadelphia Airport

An engine on a Southwest Airlines Jet left one woman dead and 7 others injured late this morning. The plane en-route to Dallas from Laguardia Airport made and emergency landing at Philadelphia International Airport after the left engine exploded 20 minutes after takeoff sending debris into the plane's body and causing a window to burst. According to a family member of the victim, the pressure change apparently pulled the female passenger partially out of the jet.
