Appeals Court Hears Trump Travel Ban Arguments

A federal appeals court in Seattle is considering a Trump administration bid to show that the President's latest travel ban is legal.  The 9th Circuit Court of Appeals hearing yesterday came just days after the U.S. Supreme Court temporarily upheld the travel ban on people from 6 Muslim-majority countries.  The 3 judge 9th Circuit panel is expected to issue a ruling soon.  The 4th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals will hear a separate challenge to the ban on Friday.

The U.S. Supreme Court will have the final say when it reviews the controversial issue sometime next year.
