Report: Trump's Lawyers Exploring Pardoning Powers

President Donald Trump's lawyers are said to be looking at ways of derailing the special counsel's Russia investigation.  A report by "The Washington Post" says lawyers are exploring Trump's pardoning powers and other ways to undercut Robert Mueller's probe into possible ties between the Trump campaign and Russian meddling into the 2016 election.

The report says Trump is looking into his powers to pardon aides, family members and even himself.  The "New York Times" is also reporting that Trump's legal team is looking into the backgrounds of investigators hired by Muller in an effort to discredit them.
